I have a truck with a tommy lift gate so size doesn't matter as much I'm also considering getting a pair of Danley SH50's and keep the A6's for playback at my house. I also have these Klipsch speakers for larger outdoor events I keep them in my garage .Attachment 2205

That's more like it. Man can not live with bookshelf speakers alone.....

ROTFL you should have seen some of the rigs I moved. We did 30-40k people outdoors on a regular basis. I was glad when I got rid of the 8 Shearer horns. And those were the lows. Then 32 mid bass single 15 and 8 1003 with dual 290E. And a gazillion peizos.

I think the 4520 double scoops are what really ruined me. Those things are just way heavier than they look like they should be. Set-up wasn't so bad, you'd be fresh and they were the first things off the truck and into the venue. Tear down was a different story as it seems like the heaviest stuff was the last stuff you handled at the end of the night. Even though we only ran 4 double scoops, we did a couple regular gigs in 2nd floor venues with no elevators. By the time we'd get the fourth one back down to ground level, i don't think i could have carried a 5th.

The Peavey MB-2 is a perfect match for the Klipsch MWM bass bins and the JBL 2360A horn is still a great horn the crossover points on the system are 350Hz & 1100Hz I'm using a Ashly Protea 3.6SP and also have a Driverack PA but lean towards the Ashly. The center channel is a modified TSCM here is a updated photo of one of them after walnut trim was added.Attachment 2206

BTW Bowtie that old D150 you got years ago ran a pair of 290's- one on each channel. We had stacks of those and fried linear 400's for lows and mid bass. Oddly the Fried Linears were more stable with large peizo banks than Crowns were. So they were up there also. We sorta copied Clair's mods. Mostly structural on the case and fuse holders on front panel.

You can get expanded metal or perfed metal in sheets and have it cut by a sheet metal shop, some nice HVAC places will accommodate small jobs. I put foam blocks behind it to damp vibration.
